' 3D MRI Reconstruction confirms Ligament Tear', reveals PMC Study.

3D MRI may be reliable and accurate method to detect ATFL injury. but study by Dr Yan Xu  shows 3D reconstruction model using 3D MRI sequences has excellent prospects in application..Now get the Second opinion for Ligament tear at TeleradiologyHUb starting from $49 and 3D MRI reconstruction from $99

The second opinion with MRI 3D reconstruction helps to estimate Ligament Tear in a sports injury

The Ligament tears are illusive when it comes to finding one even for Experts, however the excruciating pain does make one uncomfortable. It might happen during the action or movement, one can hear noise of the tear. But mostly without a noise, person can feel extraordinary pain. The area or location of injury is contested,  open for judgement for experts and patients. To make it more clear, mostly the patients are sent for diagnostic investigations like MRI or CT.  The musculoskeletal expert take out the findings with their knack and leaning of over the years.  The challenge is to find the right MSK radiology Expert. As radiology is branch of medical sciences that deal with images, your images can be carried to long distance. Dont wory, TeleradiologyHUB provides options to look for such experts,

Further, we go for second opinion it is better in can of illusive ligament tears. However take a look at ligament tear seen in above images (Pic 01.02 and 03). They are copied from the paper submitted by Yan Xu to PMC. The order of images shows up clarity of the tear with better perspective. It might be good to have elementary 2D or 3D sequences but its very good to mimic the images in Isometric form. That is to create the 3D Models out of these 2D or 3D MRI Images. It takes involvement of senior radiologists and efforts to stitch up right images to reconstruct a  proper visual model that shall make sense to the viewer. PMC study indicated contrast between 3D MRI  with 2D MRI in diagnosing ATFL injury. The study took 45 patients with suspected ATFL injury. They were sent to conduct  MRI 2D and also taken 3D MRI sequences. The position was much made clear with extra efforts. Subsequently,  radiologist were asked  to  reconstruct ot to make 3D model of the body part. To test how accurate the result were, arthroscopic images from surgery were also checked.

The paper testifies that it would be rather efficient if the patient is advised to get 3D MRI reconstruction of suspected position to be made. The 3D reconstructed models can help the patients and surgeons to take the call for repair or further prognosis.

There are radiologist who would like to engage in this task, TeleradiologyHUB finds the team who can do this for you.
