Technique
Chest CT has been performed on advanced multidetector row SIEMENS SOMATOM Definition AS+ CT Scanner. Spiral protocol is used for image acquisition. Examination covered the area from few centimeters above the upper thoracic outlet to the level of the adrenal glands in full inspiration. A proprietary virtual endoscopic software program has been used to reconstruct the CT data into virtual bronchoscopy images.
