Technique

The Colour Doppler evaluation of materno-fetal, feto-placental and fetal circulation was performed using with colour flow monitoring and spectral Doppler with a convex probe.

Uterine arteries, umbilical arteries and middle cerebral artery were evaluated.

Findings

Uterine arteries reveal low resistance waveform with good diastolic flow. There is no evidence of dichrotic notch in either artery.


Umbilical artery reveals good forward flow and diastole without any reversal. The PI of both arteries is within normal limits.

Fetal middle cerebral artery shows normal spectral waveforms with good flow velocities in entire diastole.
